Everytime we go in the field, Khaya "hunting", it's a chance to learn about new species. Yac was showing me a species, a vine! We were at the Soassararou Khaya population.

It was 7 am, we are on our way to Fetekou Khaya population, before a stop at the house of the chief Fulani, we had our breakfast! Hot corn based porridge and you are good for half a day!

Fetekou village is at the border of the Alibori Reserve Forest. I went there with Yac and Kader (both Fulani) to interview the Chief Fulani about pruning Khaya senegalensis.
