Dogue is a village in the Central North of Benin. It is a woodland forest zone, with few Khaya senegalensis spared by traditional logging companies in the region. There is severe food shortage for cattle during the dry season. As a result, Baasira, a fulani chief, has developped a typical agroforestry system including grass, crops, and fodder trees species in his farm.
