Natta Armand is a forester;.. he received his PhD from Wagenigen University and worked on the ecology and phytosociology of gallery forest in Benin. I was lucky to have him join my team during the survey of the Khaya senegalensis and Khaya grandifoliola populations in Penesoulou Forest Reserve. He knows the forest very well and was so helpfull. On this picture, Dr Natta Armand (left) was discussing with Honore Biaou (right) about the indigenous people's uses of Morinda lucida. We were on our way to the forest.
